Project Coordinator

Edmonds Appliances is the leading appliance specifier and supplier of affordable and premium appliance brands to the premier multi-residential developers in Greater Vancouver. Our B2B team is focused on securing strong partnerships with builders, developers, and designers, so that their clientele receives the highest quality, fashionable, and durable appliances available. Currently, we are looking for a rock star Project Coordinator to join our Burnaby team!

Summary

The Project Coordinator is responsible for providing project planning, implementation, and administrative support for our B2B Account Managers. The role will work closely with internal teams and high profile clients to drive project processes from negotiations through to after sales service. The right candidate has an authentic and positive work ethic, someone who thrives in fast paced environment, and exceptional organizational skills.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Oversee multiple projects from contract to completion. Including ensuring adequate inventory levels, scheduling deliveries and account reconciliation
  • Provide support in procurement and assistance in costing/estimating
  • Ensure all projects are on track for estimated completion timeline and communicate status updates to all relevant parties
  • Act as project liaison to all internal and external parties relating to past, current, and future projects
  • Event planning and organization, including scheduling, catering, and attending special events
  • Creating and updating high-level reports and presentations
  • Developing and nurturing relationships with customers
  • Fielding all phone calls from clients and addressing their needs in a timely manner
  • Coordinate and manage special projects as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 3 years administrative/project coordination experience
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration or Project Management
  • Proven Project Management Skills - highly organized, goal oriented, sense of urgency, detail oriented and able to manage changing priorities
  • Ability to work independently in a demanding, fast-paced environment
  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with strong ability to develop relationships across all levels
  • Highly proficient in operating MS office programs and ability to learn new systems
  • Fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese an asset
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License; some travel and overtime required
